Dan Woo, MD

Dr. Woo is the Irvin and Rosemary Smith Endowed Chair of the Department of Neurology at the University at Buffalo. His research focus is in the genetic epidemiology of stroke and recovery. Dr. Woo has been a full member of NIH study sections along with chair of the NAME study section, member of editorial boards along with section editor and Vice-Chair of the University of Cincinnati IRB which experience he incorporates into his mentorship. From his own K-level award through multiple independent awards, Dr. Woo has remained active in teaching, mentorship, and career development.
